Hi, I’m Stephanie, and I suppose you can say that Twist is my brainchild. I birthed the idea in 2008 in an effort to try to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. Honestly, the alcohol industry was probably one of the least likely options for someone with a background in public health. But I really think it found me. And I think that I knew that it could be done better.
The “it” was alcohol service. A frequent guest at large parties and events such as fundraisers, weddings and corporate galas, I saw a repeating offense of alcohol being put together almost as an afterthought, with no attention to detail. After repeat offenses where events ran out of booze or ice and experiencing long lines at under-staffed parties, I decided to do it better. It was with great guidance, a lot of gumption and an awesome team and then tah-dah! Twist Cocktail Catering Co. was born.
More local than most, I moved to Bend in 1998, after leaving my Midwest roots behind in Minnesota and Iowa. My hubby Adam and I live with their two beloved mutts Bonnie & Felipa, and love hiking, skiing, mountain biking, mushroom hunting, camping and hanging with friends and family by a fire.
