Cold Brew Cocktails To The Rescue!


What’s the best way to beat the heat and get your buzz on? Cold Brew Coffee Cocktails of course! Cold brew coffee is not to be mistaken for iced coffee, which is regular hot coffee iced down. Cold brew is a process where ground coffee steeps overnight or at least half a day, keeping oxidation and acidity levels low, which can make coffee bitter.

Most local coffee shops have a cold brew concoction that will keep you going through the summer, however if your taste buds are craving a spiked cold brew cocktail for the weekend – we’ve got you covered! Today, Twist Cocktails is sharing a delicious Cold Brew Cocktail recipe that’s perfect for a summer brunch get together with friends.

Love Potion #Coffee:
Strong cold brew coffee (brew the night before)
1 ounce of heavy or whip cream
1 1/2 ounce bourbon
1 ounce Amaro Nonino
Nutmeg or Cinnamon

Preparation: Pour the Amaro and bourbon in a chilled or ice filled glass. Fill the rest of your glass with cold brew (leave room for cream). Add the heavy or whip cream to your heart’s desire, garnish with nutmeg or cinnamon.  Enjoy!

Batch Preparation: Prepare your large batch cold brew the night before. Before serving brunch, pour the cold brew in a large pitcher or punch bowl. When adding the liquors, taste your beverage as you go to your liking. Put out half & half, whip cream, milk and spices for your guests to add at their leisure.
