This year, Twist will be suggesting trendy and delicious signature cocktails for your special celebration. Making a popular comeback this year, Moscow Mules are both tasty and refreshing. Served in a traditional copper mug, which can double as your guest favors, Moscow Mules are perfect for a rehearsal dinner or cocktail hour.
2 ounces of Crater Lake Vodka
4 ounces of spicy Ginger Beer
1 ounces of fresh lime juice
Lime wedges and mint leaves (optional) for garnish
Start by juicing a lime directly into the copper mug, pour the vodka in then fill the mug with ice. Next, pour in the ginger beer and top with a lime and mint for garnish.
History of the Moscow Mule:
Contrary to popular belief, Moscow Mules date back to the mid 1930’s. While Americans were barely drinking vodka at the time, the original owner of Smirnoff, a Hollywood pub owner and a mutual friend who owned too many copper mugs came together to make this legendary cocktail – all because they weren’t selling their products!
