The Back to School Bloody Mary

It’s that time of year again, after a long hot summer, the little ones are heading back to school and it’s time to take a deep breath. You did it! Now time for a celebratory cocktail! Today, we’re mixing up the Back to School Bloody Mary, a classic concoction that goes best with a delicious brunch and good friends. So, what are you waiting for? Call up those other moms who need a sippy celebration and start the school year right!

Back to School Bloody Mary (makes one cocktail): 
Celery salt
1  lemon wedge
1  lime wedge
2 oz Crater Lake Vodka
4 oz tomato juice
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
2 tsp horseradish
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 pinch celery salt
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 pinch paprika

Garnishes: Stalks of celery, asparagus, bacon, olives, pickles, cucumbers, onion rings, the sky is your limit!

Preparation: Pour a generous amount of celery salt onto a small plate. Rub the juicy side of the lemon wedge along the lip of a pint glass. Roll the outer edge of the glass in celery salt until fully coated. Fill a chilled glass with ice and set aside. Squeeze the lemon and lime wedges into a shaker and drop them in. Add the remaining ingredients and fill the shaker with fresh ice. Shake gently and strain into the glass. Garnish with your choice of ingredients. Think about kids going back to school, drink, repeat.
