Strawberry season is here and they’re cheap! Strawberries and basil was my first thought, then I saw the rum on the shelf. Things went south from there – to Cuba and how to Twistify a mojito strawberry cocktail. Challenge accepted.
6 strawberries, hulled, plus more for garnish
1/4 c. fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
1 lime, juiced
1/2 c. pomegranate juice
3 shots white rum
.5 oz. agave syrup
Fill 2 glasses with ice and set aside. Muddle strawberries, mint and lime juice. Add pom juice, rum and agave syrup. mix well and divide between the 2 glasses. Top with Ginger Beer, garnish with remaining strawberries and mint leaves. Cheers!
